Michael J. Greer

Since entering the financial sector in 1981, Michael Greer has significant experience as an investment banker, financial advisor, corporate executive and entrepreneur. As Waveland’s CEO, he specializes in sourcing and structuring energy and private equity transactions, identifying sources of capital, and advising clients through all stages of corporate growth. Since co-founding Waveland Capital Partners in 2000, he has established the firm as a highly regarded boutique investment bank that has consistently performed for its clients in both good and difficult market conditions. During his career, Mike has also been actively involved in the oil and gas exploration industry. Mike founded Energy Partners, Inc. to co-venture natural gas exploration and production projects in California’s Sacramento Basin. Energy Partners was later acquired by Benton Oil and Gas Company, a NASDAQ-traded exploration and production company. Through Mike’s efforts, Benton Oil expanded its operations to include major projects in the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast. The company was also active in Russia and Venezuela. Mr. Greer is a licensed General Securities Principal with FINRA.

R. Thomas Fetters

Thomas Fetters has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Tom formerly served as Exploration Planning Manager for Exxon U.S.A., Exploration Manager for Esso Australia and Chief Geologist for Esso Malaysia. During the mid-1970’s, Tom was Division Manager for Exxon’s research organization. During that period, he was Chairman of GEOSAT, a joint-industry-U.S. government (NASA & JPL) organization devoted to improving remote sensing capabilities (e.g., satellite imaging) for mapping hydrocarbon and mineral deposits around the world. Following his 17-year career with Exxon, Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of CNG Producing Company which, at that time, was the exploration and production arm of Consolidated Natural Gas (now Dominion Resources), where he was responsible for the discovery of the East Cameron 299 Field in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior to joining Waveland, Tom served as Managing Director of Exploration for Beta Oil & Gas, Inc., n/k/a Petrohawk (FINRAAQ:HAWK). Prior to joining Beta, Tom served as President of XCL China, a division of XCL Ltd. Tom serves on the board of directors for EnerGulf Resources, Inc., (TSXV:ENG) and Galaxy Energy Corporation (OTC BB:GAXI). Tom holds BS and MS degrees in Geology from the University of Tennessee.

Vickie J. Greer

Vickie Greer, has over two decades of experience in operations, administration, legal services, investor relations and broker-dealer relations, and commercial banking. Since co-founding Waveland, Vickie has established a comprehensive platform to process investments, facilitate broker and investor relations and, in coordination with legal counsel, comply with corporate and securities law. Prior to her involvement in the financial industry, Vickie spent many years as a paralegal with law firms in both Irvine, California and El Paso, Texas.

K. David Foshee

Vice President, Operations

David Foshee has many years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining Waveland in 2004, Dave spent more than seven years in the oil and gas industry as a mud-logging technician, a drilling fluids engineer with Milchem, and as a fluids and drilling consultant to Amoco and Chevron on both land and offshore projects. His oil and gas background also includes serving as a Vice President and Branch Manager of a NYSE-trading firm where he was responsible for the packaging and marketing of oil and gas investment programs. Dave’s background includes more than six years of experience with the Air Force Management Engineering Agency performing operational and functional analysis, writing statistical programs to manage workload requirements, formulating manpower standards within the U.S. Department of Defense, and identifying and correcting workflow and productivity problems. Before coming to Waveland, Dave spent 15 years as a consultant to the financial services and communications industries in both advisory and direct operational roles.

Alexander A. P. Singha

Alex Singha serves as VP of Administration of Waveland Capital Group and its affiliates. Previously he served as General Counsel to Waveland Capital Group and its affiliates from October 2004 to December 2010. In addition to his duties as Vice President, since September 2010, Alex has been the Chief Operating/Administrative Officer of AuraSound, Inc., a company with offices in the U.S., Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, that engineers and manufactures high-end audio speakers for laptop computers, LCD TVs and stand-alone consumer products. Mr. Singha has 10 years of experience primarily in M&A, private equity, energy and project finance. When he practiced law, he had been directly involved in numerous corporate transactions totaling over $4 billion. Alex has been published in “The Venture Capital Legal Handbook – Industry Insiders on the Laws and Documents That Govern VC Deals, Raising Capital, Mergers & Acquisitions & More.” He holds a JD from New York Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Association, and a BA from Simon Fraser University.

Bruce Thompson

Bruce Thompson is the founder and CEO of CapeDC Advisors, LLC, a private lobbying and business advisory firm based in Washington, DC. In this capacity he focuses on lobbying and general business advisory work for companies and individuals primarily in the energy, water and environmental sectors. In addition, Mr. Thompson serves on the Board of Advisors of Waveland Capital Group of Irvine, California. Waveland, through certain of its portfolio companies, has extensive investments in the E&P and oil and gas service company sectors.

Mr. Thompson also serves as President of The American Exploration & Production Council (AXPC), a client of CapeDC Advisors, LLC. AXPC is a Washington, DC based trade association whose membership is composed of 25 of America’s leading independent exploration and production companies, all but two of which are publicly held. The association’s Board of Directors is composed of the CEO’s of its member companies. As its President, Mr. Thompson lobbies on behalf of AXPC’s membership on a limited number of issues critical to the exploration and production sector of the energy industry in the US. The membership roster and various issues in which AXPC is interested and on which it lobbies the US Senate, House of Representatives as well as the Administration can be found on the website at www.axpc.us.

Mr. Thompson has served in senior management as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of two NYSE-listed independent exploration and production companies, Forest Oil Corporation and SandRidge Energy, Inc. He has testified before the US Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee on issues relating to natural gas supply and pricing. He also has extensive international transactional and government affairs experience, having represented clients in dealing with various national and provincial governments in South Africa, as well as in transactions in the UK, Italy and Canada.

Mr. Thompson has been a Senior Counsel for the firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a 270-person Denver-based firm, with offices in, among other cities, Washington, DC. He has also served as Chief of Staff for Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) when the Senator was in the House of Representatives.

Mr. Thompson is a native Oklahoman and received his Bachelor of Science in Economics for the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
