Since entering the financial sector in 1981, Michael Greer has significant experience as an investment banker, financial advisor, corporate executive and entrepreneur. As Waveland’s CEO, he specializes in sourcing and structuring energy and private equity transactions, identifying sources of capital, and advising clients through all stages of corporate growth. Since co-founding Waveland Capital Partners in 2000, he has established the firm as a highly regarded boutique investment bank that has consistently performed for its clients in both good and difficult market conditions. During his career, Mike has also been actively involved in the oil and gas exploration industry. Mike founded Energy Partners, Inc. to co-venture natural gas exploration and production projects in California’s Sacramento Basin. Energy Partners was later acquired by Benton Oil and Gas Company, a NASDAQ-traded exploration and production company. Through Mike’s efforts, Benton Oil expanded its operations to include major projects in the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast. The company was also active in Russia and Venezuela. Mr. Greer is a licensed General Securities Principal with FINRA.

Michael Martin brings extensive operation’s leadership and talent to the firm. As a key member of Waveland’s Executive Management Committee, Mike also provides operational oversight to Waveland’s private equity portfolio companies in support of the corporate finance team. Prior to joining Waveland, Mike was President of the $8 billion oncology division of AmerisourceBergen Corporation (NYSE:ABC), a $70 billion “Fortune 27″ company. Mike was instrumental in strengthening that division’s core competency as the premier group purchasing organization in the nation, while simultaneously expanding its reach in the oncology marketplace as a complete physician services organization. Additionally, under Mike’s leadership and guidance, the division dedicated significant resources to the development and implementation of a network-wide data aggregation initiative, which will ultimately lead to the improvement of patient care through improved therapy compliance and increased practice efficiency. Mike’s sterling leadership and organization background encompasses many aspects of healthcare and life sciences, including executive management roles at Tensys Medical, Medibuy, Premier Inc. and GE Medical Systems. As Waveland continues to grow as a dynamic and robust alternative investment platform focused on healthcare, information technology and energy, Mike is a key element in contributing to and managing that growth. Mike received his BA from West Liberty State College in West Virginia. He also serves or has served on the Board of Directors for La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, Tensys Medical, Crossflo Systems and Waveland portfolio companies (Vesta Medical, LLC, NeoMatrix, LLC, and Fertile Earth Corporation).
Vickie J. Greer

Vickie Greer, has over two decades of experience in operations, administration, legal services, investor relations and broker-dealer relations, and commercial banking. Since co-founding Waveland, Vickie has established a comprehensive platform to process investments, facilitate broker and investor relations and, in coordination with legal counsel, comply with corporate and securities law. Prior to her involvement in the financial industry, Vickie spent many years as a paralegal with law firms in both Irvine, California and El Paso, Texas.
Wayne A. Ross

Wayne Ross is an experienced veteran in the oil and gas industry and also has over 15 years experience in the real estate industry. Wayne oversees all aspects of Waveland’s financial operations and partnership accounting. This includes accounting oversight, coordinating financing transactions and preparing feasibility projections. Wayne has a Certified Public Accountant certificate issued by the state of Colorado. Wayne was the Chief Financial Officer for Emcor Petroleum that managed over $120 million in public income funds and arranged over $70 million of financing for producing property acquisitions. Wayne’s work experience includes auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co., CFO of Gateway Business Park, a real estate development company in Denver. He currently serves as a board member and treasurer of two Colorado-based metropolitan districts. Wayne received his BS in Nuclear Engineering from Kansas State University and his MA in Accounting from the University of Nebraska.
Dean Lotufo

Dean Lotufo has over 20 years of professional experience in various industries including healthcare, oil and gas, entertainment and consumer goods. Most recently, Dean served as Vice President of Finance for ION, a division of AmerisourceBergen (NYSE:ABC), one of the world’s largest distributors of pharmaceutical products, with over $70 billion in fiscal 2008. While at ION, Dean led all financial planning, auditing, and reporting initiatives that supported ION’s success. Previous positions included posts as Director of Finance Reengineering at Dresser, Inc where he improved profitability and productivity by streamlining the organizational structure and centralizing transactions, and multiple executive-level positions at Blockbuster, Inc., including Vice President, Financial Planning and Vice President, Finance and Shared Services, where he was responsible for the creation, direction, and management of the company’s shared financial services center. Dean started his career at Cadbury Beverages. Dean received his bachelor degree from Fairfield University, in Fairfield, Connecticut.
